“Cultural & Historical Insight for Birmingham’s Path To Reconciliation”
In remembrance of the events of 1963, the Birmingham community engages in critical, intergenerational dialogue & thoughtful action, opening the door to repair, heal and unify, reconciling historical truths with mutual respect. Dr. Eddie Glaude is Chair of the Department of African American Studies at Princeton University, as well as a scholar, author and nationally-recognized thought leader.
This event is free and open to the public. Doors at the 16th Street Baptist Church open at 5:30pm.
