4 Little Girls Commemoration Screening at Sidewalk Film Center + Cinema

The Morgan Project is honored to join in the commemoration of the 60th Anniversary of the 16th Street Baptist Church bombing and remembering the victims: Carole Robertson, Addie Mae Collins, Cynthia Wesley, and Denise McNair. On September 14, 2023, Sidewalk Film Center and Cinema will host two screenings of 4 Little Girls – the seminal Spike Lee movie of that sad and tragic time in our history. There will be a video introduction by Spike Lee preceding the screenings and panel discussions afterwards of where Birmingham finds itself 60 years later. Panelists include: Charles Morgan, III, Dr. Carolyn McKinstry, and Lisa McNair.

There will be a screening at 5:30pm and 6:00pm. Tickets are free at sidewalkfest.com/events/4littlegirls.
